The reason’s I decided to study Software Engineering, Is for the many different avenues it has. I’ve always been a creative person and want to create change in the world. Technology to me is like outer space but the depths of the ocean, so much mystery, and untapped potential. So I decided to create a list of several reasons I decided to become a software engineer.

Reason Six: Innovation

Technology is a new and young revolution that has a major impact on culture in commerce. Watching how much of an impact it has in such a short time is pretty inspiring.

Reason Five: Teamwork

The ability to work tightly with a team, and share different mindsets on different projects, Is something that I truly enjoy. It also provides a different perspective on how to approach a problem. Which is crucial to developing as a software engineer.

Reason Four: Puzzles

When it comes to solving issues and coding it’s like dealing with a puzzle, and I enjoy puzzles a lot so it seemed fitting.

Reason Three: The Community

From what I’ve experienced in the tech world everyone for the most part it’s pretty helpful, When it comes to getting you out of a jam and or pointing you in the right direction, it’s encouraging and makes me want to give back as well.

Reason Two: Always Learning

With the rapid growth of technology, there’s always something new to learn, with new things to discover so there’s never a boring moment in tech. Which is something I could appreciate!

Reason One: Being Creative

Being able to Impact the world in a real way has always been a goal of mine. The idea of making something out of nothing excites me, also to spark the mind of someone who may be the next Elon is a feeling I can’t explain. My motto is “I may not change the world but I may spark the mind of someone who can.” That is something that’s been a life mission of mine.
